Registration Steps:

Step 1 

  • Click on the Apply Here! button above

  • Complete and submit the Application for Registration

  • Administration will contact you (within two business days) for Step 2

Step 2

  • Complete registration package as detailed in email from administration

Step 3

  • E-transfer $75 registration fee and first month’s tuition to secure your child’s spot (These are non-refundable.)

Next Steps

  • Administration will confirm your child’s registration via email

  • Information about staggered entry days and preparing for the start of the school year will follow during the summer

    classroom visits

    Classroom Visits: We welcome visitors by appointment. Visits can be scheduled during regular class times during the school year, or at another time convenient to you that can be arranged with the administrator.

 
 
 

Registration Information

  • Children must be 3 years old by the start of the school year.

  • Preschool begins in September and runs until mid-May.

  • Children must be toilet trained, and have full independence with toileting.

    (No diapers or Pull-Ups are permitted - per licensing requirements.)

2025/26 Fees*

  • There is NO fee to submit an application for registration.

  • A $75 registration fee along with the first month’s tuition is required if your child is offered a spot in our program - both are non-refundable.

  • Two mornings per week: $100/month

  • Three mornings per week: $160/month

  • Five mornings per week - please inquire for fee information

    *Subject to changes in government funding

Minimum age requirement

Children must be 3 years of age or older to attend Riverbend Christian Preschool. If your child is not yet 3, you may still submit an application and your child will be placed on our Under Three Waitlist. If a spot is available when your child turns 3, you will be contacted. If demand for our classes allow, you may be offered the choice to pay the monthly tuition fee in order to hold a spot until your child is old enough to attend.

Wait List

We maintain a wait list for those applicants who are not able to get a spot through our registration process.

AFFORDABILITY GRANT

Our fees reflect the $100 Government of Alberta Affordability Grant that the preschool will receive for each student, each month. When students register in two classes to attend 5 days per week, the Government will still provide only one $100 payment per month for each child.
